Professor Stavros Kiliaridis, former Head of the Division of Orthodontics at the Clinique Universitaire de Médecine Dentaire (CUMD), is an active member of the Angle Society of Europe.

In 2015, he received the Sheldon Friel Award from the European Orthodontic Society. He is also the recipient of the Distinguished Teacher Award from the European Orthodontic Society (EOS). This award recognizes an outstanding career as a teacher and researcher in the field of orthodontics.

Professor Kiliaridis has played a leading role in orthodontic training over the last 20 years. He was coordinator of the European Orthodontic Teachers’ Forum, and also chaired the Network of Erasmus-based European Orthodontic Programs (NEBEOP).

In terms of research, he has worked mainly on factors influencing dentofacial growth and post-emergent tooth eruption.
